Clashes broke out between police and protesters in Paris on Tuesday, as labor unions hit the streets to demonstrate against the French government’s policies and reforms.

The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) and Workers' Force (FO) unions as well as two national student unions denounced policies that they say are causing the destruction of the social model, notably favoring inequality and the breaking of collective rights.
