Daoud Shehab, a spokesperson for Islamic Jihad, a militant group that sometimes operates independently in Gaza, said that understandings had been reached for a ceasefire with Israel with the help of Egyptian intervention. Shehab said "After contacts between the Islamic Jihad leadership and the brothers in Egypt it was agreed that a comprehensive ceasefire will begin immediately." These technologies are used to develop machines that can substitute for humans and replicate human actions. Nigeria loses $25b to foreign ship owners  By gowidenews On October 27, 201812:46 pm Report reaching us says that The Executive Secretary of Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC), Mr Hassan Bello, has said that Nigeria lost $25 billion to foreign ship owners between 2015 and 2017. Bello disclosed this when the Nigerian Fleet Implementation Committee paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Sen. Udoma Udoma, in Abuja. Bello said that over $9.08 was paid as freight for dry and wet cargoes to foreign ship owners in 2015 due to the absence of Nigerian-owned fleet plying the international route. The NSC boss said that the trend had been recurring over the years till date, adding that in 2016, over $7.55 billion dollars was estimated as opportunity loss.
